Super Tour 2010

The Super Tour ski race rolled through town this morning. There were about sixty skiers in all. The weather looked to be cloudy when I woke up, but cleared off by the time the first racers reached Gothic.







I captured a couple short videos, too. You can see billy there in the first one. I tried to bully him into telling me where he put the booby traps for the skiers, but he refused squeal.

Roof Slide

We had some pretty heavy snow buildup on Maroon's roof after the recent storm. The top slid down at a snail's pace for three days before finally braking loose. I directed the hut renters away from the worst of the danger, as the lab normally frowns upon crushing its guests.





...but eventually it all came tumbling down.
